Full Service

How does it work?

Our friendly, uniformed crew of two will remove the junk from anywhere at your location. Simply point and let us take care of everything. We do all the loading and clean-up. We even sweep after the loading is done. All pricing is upfront and will be confirmed with a no-obligation estimate. Pricing is based on the volume of material you have and the space it would occupy within our truck. We will get started if you are ready to proceed on the spot.

When does the truck arrive?

We book a 2 hour window in which the truck will arrive sometime within that window.

Can you arrive at an exact time?

We will arrive within a 2 hour time slot. We cannot tell an exact time because there are many factors that can influence arrival time such as heavy traffic or longer anticipated appointments with other customers.

I do not see a time slot that is convenient for me. What should I do?

What materials do you remove?

We can remove: furniture (desks, filing cabinets, dressers, mattresses, couches, sofa-beds, armchairs), applicances (washers, dryers, fridges, freezers, computers, fax machines, stereos, T.V's), household items (dishes, clothing, tools, boxes, lawn mowers), construction debris (drywall, plaster, wood, tiles, glass, concrete, shingles), wood (pressure treated lumber, regular lumber, fencing, plywood, firewood), yard waste (leaves, branches, dirt, soil, sod, grass, clay, compost), concrete (concrete driveway, pathway, basement floor, asphalt - only with special bed-load rates). Plus anything else as long as two crew members can lift it into a truck and is non-hazardous.

Do I have to be on site to have my junk removed?

As long as we can gain access to the material you need removed and we can contact you over the phone then you do not have to be on site. Our friendly crew will call you when they arrive and give you a cost to remove your junk. If you would like to proceed with the estimate then we accept Credit Cards over the phone.

What do you do with the junk you pick-up?

We do everything we can to recycle items. Metal, drywall, appliances, clean wood can all be recycled. A large percentage of our loads are recycled. Other items that cannot be recycled are disposed of at a licensed facility.

What if I am not happy with the estimate?

We will get started if you are ready to proceed on the spot or we will move onto our next project. It is a no obligation estimate.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Though we're busy year-round, we can often provide same or next-day junk hauling and trash collection services. That said, we do encourage you to book well in advance if you are in a time sensitive situation, such as a real estate closing, so that we can be sure to accommodate you.

What is a cubic yard? How many cubic yards fit in a full service truck?

We base our full service pricing on volume, which we calculate by the cubic yard. One cubic yard is a pile of junk 3 feet high by 3 feet wide by 3 feet deep. Our full service truck is 11 feet long by 8 feet wide by 5 feet high, making it just over 16 cubic yards.

What's the difference between full and self service?

Our full service takes care of all the loading and clean-up involved in junk removal. If you don't have a good location for a disposal bin, don't have the time or energy to load your junk yourself, or have an injury that makes loading dangerous to you, this is your best option. With our self-service option, we'll deliver a bin that you then fill yourself, after which we'll haul it away and dispose of it safely. This is a good option for those who prefer to do their junk removal in their own time.

How do I schedule an appointment?

We make scheduling an appointment easy with our fast online booking system. You can also give us a call at 1-866-586-5486 to make a booking and to ask any questions you have.

Self Service

How long can I have the rental bin?

We understand that all projects are different and may require you to have our bins for different durations. Our system is flexible. Simply choose a drop-off day and a pick-up day. The length of the rental period is up to you!

When will you deliver and pick-up the bin?

Your bin can be delivered and picked up between 7 am and 9 pm on the designated days. Junk It! does not charge you for these days. For that reason the bin could arrive and be picked up at anytime on the pickup and delivery day. Nobody is required to be at the location for the delivery or pickup.

Do I have to be at the location for the delivery or pick-up?

You do not need to be at the location for the delivery or the pick-up unless you need to provide us special access or the bin is being placed in a unique location. All instructions that you provide via our online ordering system or customer service will be followed closely by our drivers.

What can I put in the bin?

Some examples include: furniture (desks, filing cabinets, dressers, mattresses, couches, sofa-beds, armchairs), applicances (washers, dryers, computers, fax machines, stereos, T.V's), household items (dishes, clothing, tools, boxes, lawn mowers), construction debris (drywall, plaster, wood, tiles, glass, concrete, shingles), wood (pressure treated lumber, regular lumber, fencing, plywood, firewood), yard waste (leaves, branches, dirt, soil, sod, grass, clay, compost). Heavy material such as soil or concrete can only be placed in 5 yard bins.

What materials cannot be placed in the bin?

We generally can remove any material that is not hazardous and two crew members can load into a truck. Due to environmental regulations, we cannot accept: Propane or pressurized tanks, Appliances that contain Freon (Fridges, Freezers, or Air Conditioners), Oil drums that are empty or full, Oil furnaces or any item that contains oil and gas, Medical or biological waste, Batteries, Asbestos, Paints, solvents, Any other hazardous material, Engines, Cars, trucks, RV's.

Does the bin have a cover?

No the bin does not have a cover; however, we do sell a tarp and straps separately.
